Casual Festival Staff About the Role We’re on the lookout for casual staff to join our team for upcoming festivals and large-scale events at the distillery. If you love fast-paced environments, great music, and working as part of a high-energy team, this is for you. Our festivals are some of the biggest days on our calendar, and our event crew are at the heart of making them run smoothly. You’ll be working across a variety of areas depending on the day, helping deliver a seamless experience for our guests — from the moment they arrive to the final pack down. Event staff typically support areas like food & beverage service, bar operations, customer service and event setup/pack down to ensure everything runs efficiently Our Distillery The Farmer’s Wife Distillery is an independent Australian distillery with a traditional yet sustainable approach to crafting quality spirits. Our team has produced a range of award-winning gins enjoyed by customers across Australia. Our distillery door is set in a beautiful rural location on the Bucketts Way tourist drive, just 45 minutes north of Newcastle. About You We are looking for someone who can assist with: Serving drinks and working across bar stations Assisting with food service and clearing Managing queues and guest flow Providing friendly, efficient customer service Supporting event setup and pack down Keeping service areas clean and organised Working closely with our team to keep things running smoothly What We're Looking For Friendly, energetic and reliable Able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service skills Team player with a positive attitude Available for weekends, evenings and event days RSA (or willingness to obtain) preferred You don’t need heaps of experience, hospitality, events or customer service experience is great, but attitude is everything.
